San Valley Fair Store Renovation

In mid-July 2007 the Valley Fair (Santa Clara, N. Calif.) store closed briefly to install a construction barricade and move the retail operation into a smal-store while an extensive renovation is performed.

Thanks to Mike for photos of the in-progress store. When it's finished, the store will swap wood floors for stone, black-painted shelving for wood, and will add wood display tables and wall-mounted display counters. The store will also feature the standard complement of Genius Bar and Studio counters.

The original 45-foot wide store is mostly barricaded off in this view. At the far right is the small-store that continues to operate.
The white Apple logo is set on a gray background that looks like Apple's standard stainless steel. However, instead, it's gray-painted
wood.

Here's the interior of the small-store that continues to operate while the adjacent space (behind the left wall) is renovated.
The stores's original wood floor is used, but the other interior features mimic the current interior design: side-mounted
counters, wall graphics, center display table, etc.

A sign adjacent to the small-store explains the size and feature differences of the temporary space.

In this photo by O'Noonan, you can see the sign and the store.
