The Grove Grand Opening

Thanks to Deb for this great collection of photos of the grand opening of The Grove (S. Calif.) retail store held in 2002, including some great photos of the store before it opened, and some showing the distinctive blue color of the glass staircase.

The store was renovated in the summer of 2004--the floors were converted from wood to stone, the furniture from Corian islands to wooden tables, the theater was rearranged and the bench seating was switched to seats, and the rear downstairs was reconfigured. As a result, the Genius Bar was moved from the side of the store to the end, and other product sections were relocated.
