| The Apple store has two entrances at the corner of Higuera and Morro Streets. Apple originally wanted stainless steel on the front (the right façade here), and solid red-brick on the Morro St. side (left here). But after city objections, they switched to this design, which provides the same view of stainless steel and the back-lit logo, but puts it all on the inside. The windows are fake, and the second-level windows are non-functional, since they're above the ceiling. |
