The spiral glass staircase is a one-of-a-kind structure among Apple stores, and possibly the only such stairs in the world. Besides being a manufacturing marvel, it adds substantial visual interest to the store, especially surrounded by the stainless steel walls. These photos show the stairs at about 11:30 a.m., when sunlight is striking the south side of the building, and slightly into the angled entry-way. The sunlight provides a warmish glow to the bridge and steps of the stairs during the day, while at night the lights from the ceiling provide a more reflective view.
