Ulan and his protegé arrive at 9 p.m. on Thursday evening for the Saturday grand opening, 49 hours early! Devin followed at 6 a.m. on Friday morning, and was in time to see workers installing the stone siding in the BART transit entrance, washing down the stainless steel on the Stockton St. side, and working on the Ellis St. siding. There was no one in the store at 7 a.m., and it appeared to be completely finished.
