Construction continues on the high-profile San Francisco Apple store at One Stockton Street, on the corner of Ellis, Market and Stockton. The structural steel is up, there is scaffolding around the building, the interior walls are in place, and you can clearly see that the open area in the second floor roof that will be covered by a skylight, like SoHo and North Michigan Avenue. From the orientation of the skylight, you can figure that the "grand staircase" made of glass will flow from the Stockton St. entrance upward to the second floor.
