The is the view from the tri-corner of Stockton, Ellis and Market Streets. The BART transit entrance is just beneath the Apple logo and to the left.

The former building was about three stories tall when compared to the adjacent buildings, but only had two, lofty levels. The top of the building was level with the structural steel upon which the "DPR" sign is hanging. It's unknown how tall the new building will be, although it's likely the store will have taller-than-average ceilings.
