Northbrook (Ill.) Grand Opening
Thanks to another Gary for these photos of the Northbrook grand opening, which appears to follow the standard design--the 'home' and 'pro' sections are at the front of the store.

The waiting line forms at the front of the store. The front window display includes a giant iPod shuffle, and a set of 3 suspended iMac computers displaying a coordinated video movie.

The remainder of the waiting line assembles behind velvet ropes.

The first section of the waiting line enters the store at 10 a.m.

Store staffers clap and give high-fives as the first persons enter the store.
