Store - Montreal There is a wide variety of retail stores selling Apple products, with a wide variety of interior designs, most not resembling official Apple stores. But then there's this one. The Boutique iStore in the Montreal suburb of Westmount is a full-blown mini-version of an Apple store, vintage 2005. The very narrow store features wooden display tables, frosted glass section partitions, white walls and other features common to Apple's stores. Thanks to Raymond for these photos showing the "look-and-feel" of the store.
This store is barely 20-feet wide, but has three aisles on either side of Fetzer-looking wood display tables (complete with cut-outs for hardware cables). Notice that most software is behind locked glass underneath the wall counter.
OK...some of the hardware looks a little out of date: is that an original Cinema Display behind the apple? And what on earth is that folding computer that the two girls are staring at?! It's a 1989-vintage Macintosh Portable. Notice the skylight over the glass "cube" with "iStore" etched in the glass.
Looks like they lock up most of the small items, including the disk-sized Apple software boxes. |
