iPhone Availability Index Apple's iPhone debuted June 29, 2007, and was immediately in short supply. Apple posted a nightly listing of the iPhone's availability, showing which stores had stock of the device for the next day, and which were out of stock. Latest Analysis On Saturday, August 10, 2007 168 Apple stores have stock of iPhones, the same as the past seven days. The Legacy Village (Ohio) re-opens Saturday after renovations, an it has been the only store showing "red" on the iPhone availability page for the past few days. I've stopped updating the graph below, since the numbers haven't changed for a week. However, you can download (pdf) the past iPhone availability listing.
The red line indicates the total number of U.S. stores (164-168), while the black line indicates the number of stores with iPhones in-stock. The numbers indicate the lowest and highest availability. |
