Apple Store Hot Sheet

Here are the hottest events occurring in 2009-2010:

• Frankfurt (Germany) - Looks to be an amazing store in an historic building with a glass storefront. Opening…when?
• Qianmen Street, Beijing (China) - second Beijing location at an unknown location. Where precisely, and when?
• Covent Garden (London) - A blockbuster store on two levels of an historic building, with Apple offices above. Always need photos of the on-going construction. Opens Summer 2010.
• Georgetown (Washington, DC) - a one-level store with an indoor, rear-located atrium with trees. Apple purchased the building for $13 million but has nothing to create a store. What's up?
• Paris (France) - OK, beyond the Louvre store, construction updates on the Rue Halévy store are always welcome. Will open Summer 2010.
• Lincoln Park (Chicago) - We know the store is under construction, but photos are always welcome. Opening Summer 2010.
• Walnut Street - Philadelphia (PA) - The longest-running mystery was solved in Oct. 2009 when tipsters ID'd 1617 Walnut Street as the future location. What else can you tell me? Opening some time during 2010.
• Shanghai (China) - Two stores have been confirmed by Apple execs, but where?
• Spain - We have a semi-confirmed street-level location for Valencia, and maybe two mall locations for Madrid and Barcelona? But we need confirmation and photos of all three sites.

Here's a list of scouting information that I need:

• Edinburgh (Scotland) - A store has been confirmed, but exactly where’s the space on Princes Street?
• Brooklyn (NYC) - A store has been confirmed, but I'm still searching for the location.
• Las Vegas (NV) - CityCenter…yes or no? This could be a big store if it ever comes to pass.
• Berlin (Germany) - Long-rumored but not action. What’s happening?
• Wall Street - What's up with the 23 Wall Street location? Building permits?
• Sao Paul (Brazil) - Persistent rumors point to Sao Paulo, but is it true?
• Japan - There hasn’t been a new Japan store since Sapporo in June, 2006. Will there be another store this year or next?
• Mexico - Yes or no? Any chance that the rumored Mexico City store is real?
• Calgary (Canada) - Market Mall is real. What happened to the Chinook Centre project? Will it ever come to pass?
• South America - What’s the strategy for this continent? Will stores arrive here before Africa?
• Ottawa (Ont.) - Anything happening along Wellington Street in the Hintonburg neighborhood?
• Oxford (UK) - I know that a store is planned for the central business district, but where?
