Freehold Raceway Grand Opening

Thanks to "cloudyshark' for the photos of the May 27, 2006 grand opening of the Freehold Raceway (NJ) retail store.

A long line formed for the Freehold Raceway Mall Apple Store this morning. It stretched all the way to the central waterfall, along its edge, and to its far side. At 10am the store opened with high-fives and cheers as seen in the first photo, taken just seconds as the line entered. The store front and immediate inside are shown in the second photo. MacBooks were prominent in the window display and filled the central front table.

People were handed t-shirts in white boxes as they left the store as shown here. The line waiting to enter shrunk to nothing at about noon.
