Eaton Centre Expansion

In Nov. 2005 Apple announced a retail store at Eaton Centre in Toronto (Ont.). However, empty spaces are reportely hard to find within the main mall, so there is some speculation that Apple will occupy an expansion of the mall at the corner of Bay and Dundas Streets.

The building is a partnership between private Cadillac Fairview and the adjacent Ryerson University. It will consist of 484,00 s.f .of retail space at the basement and ground-floor level, 1,600 parking spaces above, and office-classroom space for Ryerson University on the upper floors. The retail space is due for completion in Fall 2006.
