On August 28, 2004 Apple posted a new retail-related job listing on its Web site, apparently related to the new "Studio" section to be installed at several stores. The job listing uses only the word "Creative," but in the job description text itself, it uses the term "Creative Genius." The listed skills are pretty steep, include the full range of video, audio and photo applications, and include high-end music software. Also note the two-week rotating schedule requirement at the bottom.

The job responsibilities include "consumer development," by helping them with various "creative projects." The Creative Genius is expected to actually help customers create photos, slideshows, and to create music. Obviously, the full concept isn't revealed here, but it's a start.
