| The West 14th Street (NYC) Apple store is set within an up-and-coming neighborhood--which isn't there yet. These photos show the surrounding neighborhood, along with some bonus interiors.
At the west end of the block is the now-abandoned High Line elevated railway tracks, which are now being renovated into a parkway to connect the Meatpacking District and West Chelsea. The project has spawned 30 new property developments along the way worth about $900 million, some designed by well-known architects Frank Gehry, Robert A.M. Stern, Jean Nouvel and Renzo Piano.
