San Francisco 2 Store Renderings

In December 2013, Apple architect Foster + Partners submitted a package of materials to the San Francisco Planning Department for the future San Francisco 2 retail store, to help support approval of the design. The materials were considered during the on Dec. 4, 2013 meeting of the Architectural Review Committee, part of the Historic Preservation Commission.

The store consists of a glass and stainless steel box, and a slightly taller, stone-covered narrow building to the left that houses a garage entrance and back-of-house space. The level directly below the street will also be used by Apple for delivery and parking space. There are three additional underground levels that are used by adjacent building tenants.
