omg! thats 5 minutes walk from ChairMao’s memorial, next to Tiannanmen. Right now Qianmen is almost empty, just H&M, Zara and a couple of Restaurants.

Darn; that redesign of the original architectural drawings to somehow squeeze in a Apple-style glass box is incredibly ugly. I would have thought that simply having a classic pagoda style as first planned, with an enormous Apple logo would have done the trick. I think it’s a shame to see Apple co-opt Asian culture and then force in their western format with no compromise….
