After months of speculation about an Apple store in Hamburg (Germany), and then company confirmation last week that one will open, the iFUN.de Web site has tracked the future store’s location to the Alstertal-Einkaufszentrum (AEZ) shopping mall northeast of city center. The mall dates to 1970, but was extensively renovated and expanded in 2007 to accommodate 240 shops in over 640,000 square-feet. The mall is surrounded by many other attractions, including a post office, medical offices and banks, as well as several public areas. The store will open this Fall.
