The existence and location of Apple’s retail store in Frankfurt (Germany) has been confirmed by city planning officials, in city center near Opera Plaza. The two-level store at #30 Große Bockenheimer Straße will look out over a tree-spotted pedestrian mall that includes a fountain. Frankfurt has a metro population of 2.1 million in central Germany, and is a major travel hub for the country and incoming air flights from other countries. A rendering indicates the current building will require extensive reconstruction, although it’s not clear if demolition is part of the plan. The store could open in early 2010.
This view of #30 shows the 6-level building as it now stands.

Some googling on the Zeilforum shopping mall revealed this information:
In 02’2008 the project was renamed to MyZeil. MyZeil opened its doors in 02’2009. On opening day, the shopping mall was 97 % booked out. No Apple Store, however.
@Tom Ross:
This predicted Apple Store has nothing to do with the MyZeil.
Marc,
I realize that. I was referring to the Google Map which still shows Zeilforum.
