An Apple store is never more than 30 minutes away within a 2,100 square-mile area surrounding Boston (Mass.), and now they’ll have an even shorter drive with the addition of a store at the Legacy Place mall in the small town of Dedham. The mall is currently under construction along Interstate 95 southwest of Boston, and will eventually include 675,000 square-feet of shops, restaurants, a cinema, office space and other attractions. The mall will be anchored by a large L.L. Bean store and Whole Foods grocery, and will serve an upscale residential region. The store will be just five miles from the existing Chestnut Hill store, and about 12 miles from the South Shore location. The exact location of the store within the mall isn’t know, but the mall opens this fall, and the Apple store could open at the same time.

Why oh why won’t they open one in either Manchester or Salem NH (even both would work)? The Market is there and with so many people doing their shopping in NH because we don’t have sales tax, it’s silly not to.

You have bad data on the distance from Apple Store in Chestnut Hill to the location in Dedham. When I google map it, it’s 11.2 miles.
Google also shows the distance to the Southshore Plaza in Braintree as 10.2 miles.
Also the store is opening this summer, not in the fall. The whole mall is set to open late spring/early summer, with individual stores opening when they are ready.
Whoops, I meant to say Nashua, not Salem. I visit the Rockingham Park store every time I’m down that way (I live in the Lake Sunapee Area)
