again, nothing that new or radical. no need to get hotheaded.

but i'm glad it's only just been posted because of LP...they're hidden for a reason: so that joe blow cannot shlepp into a busy store, bag a product and walk out.

and yes, they are not always stocked as bag supply ebbs and flows and different CS strategies are adapted on an almost weekly basis, resulting in many different day to day operations decisions.

Really?!!? That's new?!? The Apple Store I frequent (Pacific Centre in Vancouver) have had both the bags and receipts under the display tables ever since it opened last May. So, must only be new at the older stores, and the newer stores have been built with them already.

It depends on the store. Stores receive upgrades when it's determined that they're needed. Most stores have had multiple EasyPay printers for over a year, but one of the stores I used to work at only got a couple extras installed for holiday (then took them down shortly after). Stores in need of renovation may not get it if they aren't performing strongly enough to warrant the expense.

I must admit that for those non-in-store workers, aka customers, I never knew they were there. Another example of the Apple solution to a problem, so thanks for sharing this Gary.

Yeah, these have been there for a while. Of course, they never get refilled so they're mostly useless.

SurferX... I hate to be disagreeable, but no. These were not there since the rollout of EasyPay. EasyPay was rolled out over three years ago. These are not that old.
