After several weeks of quiet, Apple’s retail chain will add another store this Friday, when the Vintage Faire mall location holds its grand opening in Modesto (N. Calif.) at 6 p.m. The store in the state’s central valley will fit in the middle of a large coverage gap that now exists between the Arden Fair store in Sacramento, and the Fashion Fair store, 170 miles south in Fresno. The store will give California 43 Apple stores, well ahead of Florida and Texas, each with 15 stores.
