Construction has been underway at the Southcenter (Tukwila, Wash.) shopping mall to build a full-sized Apple store, which will take the place of the existing mini-store that opened in 2004. Now Apple has posted the timeline for the move: the current mini-store will close November 11-14, and the new store will then open on Saturday, November 15th in the larger space. Check photos of the new space after the breakThanks to Peggy for these photos of new store construction.
This construction barricade is uncharacteristically messy for Apple.

Tukwila is in WA not OR. The Southcenter store is 20 minutes south of Seattle.
Belle — Oop! Thanks for the correction. I’ve updated the story.
I’m usually bored during November (don’t ask), so even though it isn’t a new store opening I”m going to pretend it is and be there when they open on the 15th. I sure hope they don’t delay the opening ’cause for me it is a three hour drive to get there. ;-)
