I know brooklyn very well, and I know apple very well. I can tell you, there is no way that Apple would put a sore on bedford ave. Apple would go for Metrotech center or Brooklyn Waterfront, or perhaps even Brooklyn College area. Bedford Ave location IS fairly close to downtown, but not good enough for Apple (security, crime,), . They should consider also livingston st , or hoyt street, near Brooklyn Tabernacle and polytechnic University, they could also try to get space at barclay’s arena, Future Home of New York (brooklyn :0) NETS NBA Team

Well I think an apple store here would be only beneficial. It would help clean up the area and make it feel safer and will encourage others to do the same.

In my opinion, this strip of Bedford is not only the hippest part of Brooklyn (that is FULL of Apple users) but it is also safer and far more ideal than the spots that Nikato mentioned previously. The retail spaces in Downtown Brooklyn are larger but the demographics don’t fit.. AT ALL. Look who shops around there: Its all cheap fast food and various high-end ghetto crap. And I just don’t see Apple moving into Atlantic Center. Haha, that would be a disaster. Apple’s high retail standards would never allow it.

Williamsburg is an ideal spot for an Apple Store. Still, I’m not sure how they’d fit a store on that Salvation Army lot. Could be a good place for a store focused on service vs. a flagship/showroom type of store.

Where is this “Bedford is unsafe” stuff coming from anyway? The only crimes committed there nowadays are fashion crimes. har har.
