Ho`olaule`a — Another Honolulu Store

September 23, 2008

Hele me hoohiwahiwa the delayed grand opening of the Royal Hawaiian (Honolulu) retail store this Saturday at 10 a.m. The opening will move the city into second place for “most stores per square-mile,” and bring Apple products to the area around the iconic The Royal Hawaiian hotel on Waikiki Beach. The store was expected to open earlier this year, but problems with the stonework required workers to remove the partially-completed siding and later replace it with stone of another type. The store will bring the chain to 246 locations, 10 days before the end of the fiscal quarter.

Aloha, Apple Store! And Mahalo to the stone masons that got the walls done! I hope to be there with the blessings of United and the Super Ferry!
