Hi People. This is my first write-up to the site! I live in Leicester UK & went to the opening of the new store. It was a bit manic because there was a massive queue, people some how got there before the official opening of the New Highcross Centre. The staff came running out whooping and shouting, taking video & photo's, going back in but still not letting anyone in. It seemed a little false coming from the Brit's because you American's do drama far better than us! I waited by the door, a burly security guard asked if I was in the queue, I said no , '' Waiting for the Wife"" I replied. After a 10 second countdown, the crowd surged. In the rush, I just slipped in! I quickly started to speak to one of the more mature members of staff in a blue apple t-shirt. Security went a little over the top to keep people out, which was weird because there were more staff in the place than customers. I wasn't going to buy anything in the crush, I'll wait till the initial excitement dies down & then have a look.I was a given a t-shirt on the way in, then I kind young girl gave me another one on the way out.
1 each for the kids!! Bye - Rob Spencer.
