The New York-New Jersey region is awash with 23 retail stores, over 10 percent of the entire chain’s total. But there are still lots of Apple customers who apparently feel that’s not enough coverage. So Apple will open another store in New Jersey, at the Willow Brook mall in the city of Wayne, about 23 miles northwest of Manhattan. The store is about mid-way between the existing Rockaway and Garden State Plaza retail stores, and according to the mall’s Web site, could open by “Holiday 2008.”
