The availability of the new iPhone 3G can now be tracked all day, thanks to the TopMuffin Web site, which uses hidden data from Apple’s own Web site. Apple has been posting store-by-store availability of the iPhone each night after 9 p.m. But apparently the information is actually updated throughout the day, which TopMuffin is tapping with an application. At the end of business on July 25th, 48 of the 188 stores that sell the iPhone have no product in-stock. Both black iPhone models are available at about 33 percent of the stores, while the single white model is available at 68 percent of Apple’s stores.

So this site does not work anymore
I think you’ve got it backwards. There’s two black models and only one white model. [IFO -- Thanks...fixed.]
This site is not always accurate, and has been causing us headaches at our store when customers call or show up and get upset when we don’t actually have phones for sale despite what the site says.
