Reseller Stakes Out No-Apple Territory

There are apparently still regions of the United Kingdom where plenty of Apple fans will flock to Apple resellers, and there are no Apple stores as competition. Premium Reseller called Apogaeum has opened within the Golden Square Shopping Center, in the town of Warrington, about half-way between the existing Trafford Centre (Manchester) Apple store, and the future Liverpool One store in that city. The store opened last February, and photos by Ian show that it includes a few of the familiar Apple store interior features. Check photos after the break.

The place is packed! No wonder Apple didn’t open a store of its own. Location, location..location.

The photographer probably wanted to take photos of the showroom WITHOUT the crowd so you could actually see the showroom. As opposed to those crowded shots of the Apple stores where we already know “seen one you’ve seen them all”.

Nice clean store BTW. I like the floor tiles.

The software look like they are stored in refrigerators. For a moment I thought they were selling orange juice.

Actually I took the photographs as soon as the store opened first thing in the morning. The shop was much busier an hour later. I did also wait until people left and quickly got the photos with only the staff inside.

Even the Apple Stores in the Trafford Centre and Manchester City Centre are dead as soon as they open.
