Munich Store Work Focuses on Interior

June 6, 2008

Construction work on the future Munich (Germany) retail store now appears to be focusing on the interior features, now that the full height of the building has been achieved. The existing building was completely demolished in June, 2007 and a new five-story replacement is now in place. Apple will occupy at least the lower two floors of the building, and may have other facilities and offices in the upper floors. Check these latest photos by Guido.

I don’t see a place for a lass staircase. In the 6th and 8th photos, there’s a hole in the second floor on the right side near the back, is that for the elevator? Also, is the exterior just structural concrete, or is that the final look, I’m guessing the former.
