Long-running plans to locate a second store in Indiana have now been finalized, and Apple has apparently picked Glenbrook Square in Fort Wayne as its next product showcase. In October, 2006 a tipster said Apple was scouting the Jefferson Pointe mall in the city, but a change in mall owners and lease conflicts reportedly forced Apple to withdraw from that location. Earlier this year Apple turned to Glenbrook Square, and now the lease has been signed. The store could open by early 2009.
