Computers and music players aren’t the only products that receive an extraordinary level of attention from Apple’s employees. Those who attended the May 15th Boylston Street (Boston) grand opening received souvenir that also demonstrated the company’s well-known design skills–an iPod sock fashioned on the Boston Red Sox. The stretchy, knitted fabric sock contained a 2-3/8″ x 4/-1/2″ card printed green on both sides showing the date of the grand opening. A small white tag on the sock might have stated “Made in China” if another company had created it. In this case, the tag said in silver letters, “Boston 5.15.08″ on one side, and had the Apple logo on the other. Check the photo after the break.
