In a startling development, Apple’s future Boylston Street (Boston) store could be the focus of a curse perpetrated by next-door reseller Tech Superpowers. According to a Boston Globe story and photos, company owner Michael Oh stole across the alley separating the two locations last month, and used a shovel to bury a Tech Superpowers T-shirt that workers later covered with a cement walkway. The attempt to influence the store’s business mimics a similar attempt by a Red Sox fan who reportedly buried a David Ortiz jersey at the new Yankee Stadium. “This T-shirt in the sidewalk is a symbol that there’s a connection between the two sides of the alley,” Oh told the newspaper. Let the fun begin.

It’s probably tresspassing and and at the very LEAST something incredibly silly for someone who OWNS a business to do. I’m sure that those workers that allowed it might be in for a rude surprise as well. Whoever wins the FLIP cam, go to that spot in the sidewalk and see if there’s a hole there. :)
