I’m glad Apple actually prosecuted. I know an assistant manager at one of the Apple stores in Dallas/Fort Worth who was fired for stealing over $19,000 worth of merchandise over a 3 year period. He was selling it on eBay. I don’t understand why he wasn’t prosecuted for it.

this might be a change of policy for apple. for the whole time i was employed, apple would never prosecute just quietly make the problem go away.

note mentioned in Eagle Trib news article: Chris Nashed was a store manager.

(though it’s possible he was not at the time of this incident. he was a manger at Rockingham Park a couple of years ago, and also at North Shore in Danvers after that. I worked at Rockingham Park at the time he transferred to North Shore. he might have been moved to a lower position upon moving back to The Rock, but that was after I stopped working there.)

I’m in total shock. I worked at northshore under Chris for 2 years at the Northshore store. I just saw this news story on TV in Philadelphia where I am for work. WAAAT? And yes he was a manager at the rock during this time.

wow.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Why throw away your career at quite possibly the best company to work for ever?
