A select group of Apple retail store employees will travel to the company’s Cupertino (N. Calif.) headquarters for 12 weeks this summer to work in one of six positions, part of a training and development program. The Arc Program participants are chosen from nominees who have at least one year of employment with Apple in the United States, and who have rated either “exceptional” or “significant contributor” on their latest performance evaluation. Each store manager can nominate up to four persons, and each is reviewed by a regional director. Job offers are based on the employee’s performance during the summer, but also past performance and the employee’s skills. Those accepting the positions must relocate to Cupertino for the summer, and agree to permanently move if they accept a job offer at the end of the summer. Apple will pay for travel costs, and even provide housing near the company’s campus. Check the six available job positions after the break.
