As expected, Apple announced that the grand opening of the Mall of Louisiana (Baton Rouge) will be this Thursday, March 6th at 10 a.m., coinciding with the opening of The Boulevard, an new expansion area of the mall. It’s the first Apple store in the state, and also the first along the central Gulf coast. Download (pdf) a rendering of the new mall addition, and notice the disguised Apple store behind the palm tree.

The Baton Rouge store will be ran by a very good manager named Reggie Arnold. I worked with him at Willow Bend.
