Flickr photos by Damian of today’s grand opening of the Milton Keynes (UK) retail store reveal its unique design–a narrow, two-level store with a tight-turn glass staircase at the rear of the space. From the photos, you can tell that the second level has no windows. Also notice that there appears to be a skylight over the front of the Apple store and one adjacent space, lending a unique light to the stainless steel storefront.

Isnt this the first 2 story apple store inside a Mall that is indoors?
I believe it is
its so amazing
Just curious, what is on the second floor? I couldn’t find any photos :/
If it’s anything like the Princesshay Exeter store that has the same sort of design (narrow, 3 sections down the side and stairs like that at the back - but with an all glass frontage instead of stainless steel) it’ll be accessories, software, kids area and the Genius Bar(s) (is a small one on either side in Exeter)
I went in on opening day
2nd floor is, similar to duggy said, the genius bar (at the far end, 3 workstations - look at picture 10) and software, accessories and kids section (there were loads playing games on the imacs)
its quite a small store, but id rather travel for 15 mins rather than 1 hr to london!
