It WAS there, but now they’ve removed mention to stores other than Bally and Dunhill. Maybe they weren’t supposed to be using information or images from Apple yet.

The MGM has a very nice Web site, but useless for any real information. (We will have a great pool, here is a picture of a flower.) The Apple store was listed but has since been removed. It’s the usual policy of not announcing anything before they are ready to announce it. Apple seems to looking for exposure more than anything else now. Instead of straight suburban malls they are going for high traffic tourist-oriented shopping centers. The newly planned Caesar’s Palace location makes sense as it has the highest sales per square foot in the nation. Foxwoods is the World’s largest casino so there should be plenty of traffic. They are pouring the cement for the floors in the new store in Waikiki. The Apple store was listed but was removed from most of the signs. They did miss a couple. Their website lists “Apple Reseller Store” which would make me think that its an independent reseller and not an actual Apple Store.

You know, when I went back to read, I noticed” Apple Reseller” too. Thought it was just my way of reading it…

Either way, we should know by May.
