Charleston Store Location Confirmed

February 8, 2008

A potential location for Apple’s future Charleston (SC) store has been pinpointed–301 King Street in the downtown section. A news story reports that Apple’s architects have visited the location, and have inquired of city building permit officials about what alterations they can make to the building. No lease has been signed yet, but Apple is apparently serious about opening a store, and at this location.

I cannot wait for this. It is killing me that there is no Apple store in SC. And to have one here is Charleston is better than I had hoped for. Please, bring it on soon!

AT&T is giving Charleston a 3G network. Should be up and running well before summer. Just in time for a #g compatible iPhone (I hope).
