Macworld Products are Evolutionary

January 16, 2008

This year’s Macworld Conference and Exposition in San Francisco represents a return to the glory days of seven years ago, when attendance topped 64,000 and exhibitors crammed every inch of the Moscone Center exhibit hall. This week’s conference has all that, along with an increased buzz generated from optimistic long-time users and curious potential customers. Any surprise over this year’s product announcements was taken away by leaks posted on various Web sites. Even so, the evolutionary upgrades and improvements insure solid sales for Apple, and foretell innovations in the future. Read my analysis of this year’s conference, iPhone and Apple TV upgrades, the new Time Capsule device, and iTunes movie rentals.

Great analysis, Gary! How soon before somebody shows how to tear into that beautiful case to put in your own hard drive? [IFO -- That's one case I wouldn't dare take a screwdriver to!]

I agree Gary, this year there was lots of excitement at Macworld. I hope that next year they stay out of Mosconi West for the reg desk It was a mess. Never have had to wait over an hour just to pick up a badge.
