I think you mean the "lower 48" US states. Alaska is quite clearly part of the North American continent, so "continental" United States is incorrect. Determining which Alaskan community is furthest from an Apple store by land may be quite problematic, though.[IFO -- Geography! I should have paid attention to Mrs. Hunt in third-grade!]

I'm about 2-3 hours to the closest in Toronto depending on traffic, and about 1-1/2 to the Partridge Creek in MI

I have to say I was complaining when I had to only drive 30 minutes to my closest Apple store.

The only way the residents of my home can get to an Apple store is to fly. We only live 180 miles from the nearest Apple store, but 120 miles of it are open ocean! [IFO -- Ahhh…Kauai.]

I assume that by "any other U.S. city" you mean "any other city in the continental U.S.". Alaska doesn't have any Apple stores, does it?

I know we always come across as nitpickers, but with the possible exception of Juneau, every city in Alaska is further away from an Apple Store than the mentioned ones. Also, mileage-wise they may be closer, but in terms of how long it would take to get from one of the other islands of Hawaii to Oahu and then to get to one of the stores there may take longer due to the availability of flights and driving definitely not being an option at all. [IFO -- Absolutely correct. Continental U.S.]
