345 Adams st is right across from Polytechnic University, an engineering university. Great place for an Apple Store. Once more engineers and Comp Sci majors can get their hands on Apple equipment, more of them will see how wonderful Apple is.

This is a phony story, generated by a real estate developer trying to generate buzz for his property. Don't believe it.

Dear Apple -

Whatever you decide, take it from 5L4M: Williamsburg is beat. It's a desolate, depressing place; an overpriced hipster ghetto that's hard to get to, ugly to look at and too spread out to expect much business from foot traffic, especially in inclement weather.

Contrary to the last poster's suggestion, people will hate you if you move into Atlantic Yards. Local residents hate that this project is being forced down their throats, cutting off neighborhoods from each other and forcing many people from their homes. A bad mojo.

Downtown BKLN, 345 Adams or wherever, is the way to go, IMHO.

Good luck.

The Nets building won't be start construction for at least a year or so since the whole area is still in conflict. Downtown Brooklyn has a ton of new apartment buildings going up and is on the verge of being totally gentrified. NYU is moving some dorms and classrooms over there as well I think. Plus the A,C,F,M,N,2,3,4,5 trains all get very close to that area, too. Its kind of a weird spot since its on a street with almost zero pedestrian foot traffic but its close enough to Fulton I guess.

They should open an Apple Store in the new Nets Stadium building complex. It's downtown, It's going to be a new city construction, it's near Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill, 4 big Mac neighborhoods. The entire area will be a new development right next to the long island rail road. Big Shopping!!!!
