Apple has confirmed the grand opening of the 14th Street (NYC) retail store with posters on the side of a nearby building with the date December 7th. The large posters repeat a design based on the NYC Subway system station logos, showing “W14″ and the Apple logo (Thanks, Bill!). Actually, the store is one block away from the 14th Street subway station, served by the A-C-E lines. Passersby continue to report that glimpses inside show substantial work remains to be finished, while the Racked Web site shows the spiral glass staircase on the inside. Thanks to Harold for photos of the exterior of the store, and glimpses of the inside. Expect daytime temperatures in the mid-40s, while nights will be in the mid-30s.
