Woosh. That’s a NICE store. Do you think that stores for now on will look like that? [IFO - At least one source says, "Yes." However, some malls have low ceilings that wouldn't support this type of design.]

What? You didn’t go to Pacific Catch? The restaurant from the “calamari” iPhone commercial? It’s a real seafood restaurant (that didn’t serve calamari before the ad) just about two blocks away… I went there while I was at WWDC last year and it was great.

The Chestnut store looks great. Too bad the downtown store is such a monstrosity, especially now by comparison, don’t you think?

I thought I recognized that manager woman! The chubby one with the short brown hair. You’re right, she is one of the worse I have ever dealt with in the entire Bay Area. [IFO -- OK, no more.]

Apple did a great job in getting a very hip and attractive store open in time for the shopping season. But, seasonal shopping or not, it’s in the center of a very good area for techies and artists. Let the Marina BLOGs begin!

I was really disappointed that the same b***h manager who worked at the downtown store now works at the Chestnut Store. Ugh. Hopefully she’ll keep her mean mug in the office.

I really like that design..it looks like the apple store cube but above ground..it looks cool!

Wow that is impressive. Do you think that’s just because of the town/area that the all glass front, suspended logo, and tall ceilings are present? With a completely new space, as seen in the pics posted earlier this week, I guess they can create high ceilings not available in existing spaces like malls. It does look VERY elegant.
