The future store at the Friendly Center in Greensboro will fill in Apple store coverage for residents of North Carolina. The location is part of a 75-acre shopping complex northwest of downtown, in a new section opened in 2006. There are existing stores in Raleigh, Durham and Charlotte, east and west of this future location. The store could open in mid-summer 2008.

The Apple store will actually be located at Friendly Center, adjcent to yet not in The Shops at Friendly Center. [IFO - Thanks, correction made.]
