If Apple can take off in the Philippines, it’ll be a very good sign indeed. Can’t depend on the American and (spotty) Western European markets forever.

There are some really good resellers in the Philippines, however I would like to see an honest to God Apple Store in Manila and in some of the larger cities.

Believe it or not there is good money to be made in that market selling Macs and related products.

I’ve just about got all my Filipino relatives here stateside and there weaned off those junky slapped together Windows boxes.

@John Muir, What exactly do you mean by “spotty” Western European markets? Seems to me the American market is where Apple makes most of it’s money. But the European market is by far greater (300 vs 500 million) and also the largest economy in the world. Surely growing in Europe would be the smarter move. And, of course, expanding in the Asian markets where profitable (city by city).
