A set of detailed architectural drawings filed with the Exeter (UK) City Council’s planning department reveal that the future Princesshay retail store will be two levels, with offices and storage located above the adjacent Oasis clothing store. The drawings prepared by architectural firm Gensler show the store will be 24-feet wide, and will feature a glass staircase to the second level where the Genius Bar is located. The 26-foot tall storefront will be all-glass to the second floor, with two supporting fins on the inside. A 5′-4″ backlit Apple logo will be suspended on the inside of the glass façade. The drawings even detail that a timer will switch off the backlight at midnight each day. Find the links to the drawings here.
