Apple is closing seven stores over the next two weeks in an on-going series of renovations and floorplan changes. Closing on various dates are: Smith Haven, Eastview, West Town, Penn Square, MacArthur Center, Stamford, Northbrook and Flatiron Crossing. Some stores are closed for just four days, while others are shut down for over two weeks. At newer stores Apple is rearranging the fixtures, while older stores are receiving flooring and interior design upgrades.

Wow — FlatIron Crossing has only been open 16 months (to the day tomorrow!). I’ll be curious to see how they update it. I wonder if it’ll receive stainless like 29th Street and Park Meadows, or if they’ll get rid of the cashwrap.
