iPhone To Have 6 p.m. Debut

June 11, 2007

During today’s World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco, Steve Jobs noted the debut of the iPhone on June 29th, and revealed that it will first go on sale at 6 p.m., rather then when Apple’s and AT&T’s retail stores first open at 10 a.m. The starting time is identical to the debut of past first-day sales of the OS X operating system.

Makes you think ‘why?’ and ‘how exactly?’ I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

So much is happening this year. It’s incredible. There’s no going back. It’s all uphill from here and I’m excited and proud to be a part of it all. Bright future, here we come.
