The inland city of Fresno (Calif.) will receive its first Apple store this Saturday with the grand opening of the Fashion Fair retail store. The city is the sixth largest (481k) in California and lies at the geographic center of the state, surrounded by an agricultural economy. The opening will feature the usual 1,000 commemorative T-shirts and a sweepstakes giveaway.
